Comm100 joins global watchdog group

Comm100, an enterprise level communications solution, has joined the ranks of the Messaging, Malware and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG), a group set up to help identify problem areas in email and mobile marketing to better protect consumers and businesses.

The M3AAWG works against phishing, malware and spamming schemes, helping to provide a better infrastructure for brands in the online space; this also helps to protect the identities and information of consumers on various branded messaging lists. Through the system, member businesses share and develop best practices against phishing and spam abuses while creating new features to help businesses better utilize email messaging.

Comm100 adds a hub fluent in permission-based email platforms to the group of brands fighting online fraud.

"We are very pleased to join M3AAWG," said Kevin Gao, Founder and CEO of Comm100. "By joining the conversation, we not only have access to member-only resources but can also help ensure our company and our customers are following the latest practices for optimal email delivery."

Through the Comm100 platform, email and mobile brands can access a top line permission based email platform with best of class analytics. The Comm100 system offers high delivery and rates and list management. These types of tools can help brands to better engage customers through email by enabling analytics that better target the core customer segments.

Why do brands need to be aware of email security? According to recent data from eMarketer, email conversion rates for House lists landed at just over 1% (2012) and less than 1/2% (2012) for Prospect lists. But for opens, house lists brought in a 22% open rate and Prospects a 11.4% open rate.
