Mobile Roundup: Commerce, security options released

In today's mobile roundup, a trio of releases set up to help consumers find the things they want through the mobile space - from retail therapy to increased security.

First, Bronto has launched the Socialite app, a platform set up to foster shopper engagement with retailers and brands via their favorite social channels. Using the app brands can create customized Facebook segments, promote products via Instagram and drive their email list growth through both Facebook and Twitter.

"Socialite provides extraordinary functionality to help commerce marketers better engage customers from social networks and see measurable results," said Joe Colopy, CEO of Bronto Software. "It opens a new chapter for our customers to drive revenue in the social space with Bronto."

Meanwhile, Avangate and Bitdefender are securing consumers' devices. Bitdefender's new BOX will be sold through Avangate's commerce platform. The BOX scans users' home networks and detect and block security risks.

"Bitdefender is pioneering the 'Security of Things' in the U.S. and we are honored to help them power new business and revenue models as they continue to make IoT an innovative, secure space."

Finally the ivvi app has released into the mobile space; the app is set up to change how consumers engage with video. The app uses proprietary algorithms to filter and sort clips that are verging on the viral space, making it simpler for users to find the content they want.
