Comcast RISE Fuels Metro Detroit Small Businesses

The RISE Program

Comcast’s current grant program is a component of a broader entrepreneurship initiative called Comcast RISE. The grant winners will receive a comprehensive package, including a $5,000 cash grant, business consultation services, educational resources, a media strategy consultation, production of a 30-second TV commercial, a media placement schedule, and a complimentary technology makeover from Comcast. This all-encompassing grant package is designed to provide robust support to small businesses, enabling them to thrive in a fiercely competitive environment.

Two Metro Detroit-based businesses that benefited from the program last year include Foundation Management, an artist and event management company, and Pietrzyk Foods, a company specializing in pierogis and other Polish foods.
