Since the initial launch, the hub has upgraded to include external links, video content and other downloadable content.

“Part of Mindflash’s mission is to make online sharing and training as easy as possible. We want people to be able to use their existing content whether it’s PowerPoint, a Word document, PDF, audio or video,” said Dan Silmore, Vice President of Marketing with Mindflash. “And, now if they want to utilize content out on the web or contained on a corporate intranet, Mindflash enables them to connect directly to that material in their Mindflash course, rather than having to recreate it. By using external supplemental materials as part of the training process, trainers experience a more savvy and seamless course creation process without having to ‘re-create the wheel’.”

What does the cloud offer businesses in need of alternative training courses? The ability to offer content both pre- and post-training. The key to engagement? As with most other online content, the key is interactivity.

“Our customers are discovering that trainees learn better, are more engaged and more inclined to actually enjoy the course when the content is beyond traditional text, data and charts,” said Silmore. The ability to comprehend is greatly enhanced with the delivery method includes video or audio, so naturally it became important for Mindflash technology to include these options.”
