XTB Customer Reviews

The platform itself is good, but support service is terrible, my experience was with XTB S.A. in Poland, they reply once a day with formal responses so any problem you have requires 4-6 emails (so more than a week of chatting with them) to finally receive an answer. Don’t recommend the service.

Nikita

Alejo

The XTB app makes my experience great but above this is the opportunity XTB has given me Olufehintimi Titus to deposit money in my XTB account via Skrill.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is a stock CFD?

Trading CFDs involves financial services compensation schemes such as speculating on the price movements of underlying financial assets, such as stocks, commodities, currencies, or indices, without actually owning the underlying asset. Instead, a trader enters into a contract with a CFD provider or third-party broker to exchange the difference in price between the opening and closing trading positions of the CFD contract. The trader can profit from both rising and falling markets, as they can either go long (buy) or short (sell) the CFDs, depending on their market expectations. Trading CFDs offers a range of benefits, including leverage, low trading costs, and flexibility in terms of asset selection and trading strategies. However, it also involves risks, such as the potential for large losses due to leverage and volatility, and the possibility of scams and unregulated practices. Therefore, traders should carefully consider their risk tolerance, trading goals, and the credibility and regulatory status of their CFD provider before engaging in CFD trading. This type is not for novice traders.

What are money manager accounts?

XTB offers a money manager account that allows professional traders to manage multiple accounts from a single platform.

Does XTB have minimum deposit requirements?

XTB’s minimum deposit requirement varies depending on the account type and payment method, but it starts from $1 for some account types.

What does maximum leverage mean?

Maximum leverage is the highest amount of borrowed funds that a trader can use to open a position in the market. It is expressed as a ratio, such as 1:30 or 1:500, and indicates the amount of money a trader can control with a certain amount of capital. For example, a leverage ratio of 1:100 means that for every $1 of capital, a trader can control $100 of assets in the market. While leverage can amplify potential profits, it also amplifies potential losses, and traders should use it with caution and employ proper risk management techniques.

Does XTB require an account manager?

XTB does not require traders to have an account manager, but it does provide dedicated account managers for its professional account holders through the brokerage account. These account managers can provide personalized support, market insights, and guidance to help traders make informed trading decisions. However, traders with standard accounts can still access the broker’s customer support team and educational resources to help them with their trading.

What is trading forex?

This trading is the buying and selling of currencies in the foreign exchange market with the aim of making a profit. The forex market is the largest financial market in the world and involves trading a range of different currency pairs, such as the EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/JPY. Traders can profit from changes in the exchange rate between currency pairs by buying a currency when it is undervalued and selling it when it is overvalued. Forex trading can be conducted through a broker or platform, and traders can use a range of tools and strategies to analyze the market and make trading decisions. Forex trading is a high-risk activity and requires knowledge, skill, and proper risk management techniques to be successful.

What is a trading strategy?

Market sentiment refers to the overall attitude or feeling of investors and traders toward a particular financial market or asset, based on their perception of the current economic, political, and social factors affecting that market. Market sentiment can be bullish (optimistic), bearish (pessimistic), or neutral (undecided), and can have a significant impact on the direction and volatility of prices. A strategy is a set of rules and guidelines that a trader uses to make trading decisions in the market. It is a systematic approach to trading that is based on a trader’s analysis of the market and their individual risk tolerance and trading goals. A strategy can include a range of different components, such as entry and exit rules, risk management techniques, and position sizing strategies. Traders can use a range of different trading strategies, including technical analysis, fundamental analysis, or a combination of both, to make informed trading decisions. The aim of a strategy is to help traders manage their risk and maximize their profits over the long term. However, no strategy can guarantee profits, and traders should always be prepared to adapt their strategy as market conditions change. It is important for traders to thoroughly test and refine their trading strategies before using them in the live market, and to have a clear understanding of the potential risks and rewards associated with their approach.

What is an exchange commission?

The exchange commission, also known as the trading fee or commission fee, is a fee charged by the exchange or broker for executing trades on the market. It is a cost that traders incur for accessing the financial markets and buying or selling assets, such as stocks, options, or futures contracts. The commission fee is usually expressed as a percentage of the trade value, and the amount can vary depending on the type of asset being traded, the size of the trade, and the broker’s fee structure. Other brokers may charge a fixed commission fee per trade, while others may offer commission-free trading but may charge a minimum spread or markup on the bid-ask price. The commission fee is an important factor to consider when choosing a broker or platform, as it can have a significant impact on trading costs and overall profitability. Other brokers may also offer reduced or waived commission fees for high-volume or active traders, or as part of promotional offers or loyalty programs.
