First, AerServ and Telerik have partnered for the AerServ Plugin. The new release is integrated within Telerik's Verified Plugins Marketplace and offers mobile video ad mediation. Through the platform video brands can access banner, full screen interstitials, pre-roll, reward video and VPAID formats through a single plugin.

"We are excited to be included in the Telerik Verified Plugins Marketplace. Telerik is an industry leader in streamlining the app development process," said Josh Speyer, CEO of AerServ. "This partnership will help developers monetize their apps so they can continue designing great applications for users to enjoy. Telerik's developers will enjoy quick and easy integration to the AerServ platform, enabling them to generate significantly more ad revenue with video, one of the highest paying ad formats."

Meanwhile, the mobile video space is showing strong growth. According to the new AOL State of the Video Industry Report mobile video ad spending has increased nearly 20% since 2014 with most brands using programmatic video (91%). AOL's research indicates more than three-quarters (88%) of publishers are now offering programmatic video options.

Other interesting findings from AOL include:

• While TV ad growth has slowed, AOL believes more brands are pushing those budget dollars into mobile video
• Programmatic inventory increased 37% from Q3 2013 to Q3 2014
• AOL expects 41% of TV buyers to try programmatic video in the next year
• 30% of video budgets are geared to branded video
