Ad Roundup: Programmatic and ecommerce solutions

In today's advertising roundup: a solution that offers scale for programmatic campaigns and a partnership bringing customized ecommerce experiences.

First, Jivox has launched an upgrade to their ad platform that offers scale to programmatic campaigns. Through the upgrade brands can deliver personalized, relevant ads to consumers via display, mobile, video and native programmatic formats.

"Brands are essentially serving 1990s-style ads with 2015 technology," said Diaz Nesamoney, Founder and CEO of Jivox, and author of the newly released book, Personalized Digital Advertising: How Data and Technology Are Transforming How We Market. "For programmatic media to reach its full potential, digital ads must pivot away from traditional banners and restrictive ad formats to become data-driven, dynamic canvases that give agencies complete freedom to create relevant and engaging ad experiences on behalf of their clients. Jivox IQ has been optimized for this new era of programmatic creative and we believe is poised to fuel an entirely new model for ideating and producing digital ads that takes into account not only the overall brand message, but also personalizes it to the individual consumer."

Meanwhile Tealium has teamed with IBM WebSphere Commerce to provide customized ecommerce experiences across channels. Through the partnership retailers can use vendor tags which offer highly personalized content to shoppers.

"When a retailer can build a comprehensive 360 degree view of their customer in real time, and then use that data to create meaningful, rich customer experiences, that's when the magic happens and more online revenue potential is realized."
