StrongMail release offers real time, lifecycle targeting

A new release from StrongMail, called Message Studio, will allow businesses to create and deliver email campaigns either through the cloud or from on-site software. The offering gives marketers trend reports, social network plugins for simpler sharing and real time information to make the best decisions about campaign optimization.

Perhaps of most interest to marketers will be the ability to optimize real time data throughout a customer's lifecycle. Knowing where a consumer is - buying a new home, downsizing for retirement, adding a new baby to the family, etc. - in 'real life' helps determine the types of messaging that will engage. And not just the type of goods, but the actual messaging of an email ad because, as we know, working mothers respond to ads for easy meal solutions differently than stay-at-home moms do.

Meanwhile, today Forrester released the Forrester Wave: Email Marketing Vendors, Q1 2012 list and StrongMail was included. They are one of six email vendors to make the Forrester list.
