The cloud hosted version of StrongMail's Message Studio is the first of its kind, for the first time giving email marketers the ability to leverage cloud computing in a versatile solution. StrongMail's dedicated solution is offered with an enhanced SaaS model. By having a dedicated system marketers can better customize messages for consumers.

There is also a hybrid option which allows marketers to use both cloud and on-premise messaging so that sensitive information is kept protected.

Cloud computing an interesting new option in the online and email spaces because of the flexibility the clouds offer marketers. By utilizing clouds marketers and businesses can expand or reduce messages as the different seasons warrant without requiring a massive amount of time to do so.

"Virtual servers offered via the cloud represent a game-changing shift with significant implications that we can't yet begin to fully appreciate. For example, elastic, low-cost virtual servers that can be quickly and easily provisioned make it possible for a traditional software vendor to offer their product as SaaS without re-architecting it for multi-tenancy, creating a best-of-both-worlds scenario for businesses," said Bill Wagner, EVP of business operations, StrongMail Systems.
