alloymm.gifTakkle, a high school sports focused website, gives teenaged athletes the ability to create updateable profiles; these profiles can then be sent to college recruiters. On average about 1 million unique users log on each month, giving marketers a unique audience as well.

These teens are college minded and, as with much of the teen audience, have money to spend. Teens are considered to be quite brand loyal and are likely to listen to friend's advice about new products and services.

"The acquisition of TAKKLE, together with our recent purchase of teen girl community,, demonstrates Alloy's ongoing commitment to developing youth-focused digital media assets that offer teens superior content, while also providing marketers with a high quality and highly populated environment to engage this consumer segment," said Matt Diamond, Co-founder and CEO of Alloy Media + Marketing. " solidifies our network's unparalleled concentration of influential teen girls and with TAKKLE, we also secure a dynamic share of the millennial male market."
