Covario: Search spend up 22% for Q1 2012
Search volumes continue to rise and that is pushing more dollars into the search realm finds a new report from Covario. According to data from Q1 2012, global paid search spending is up 22% (Year over Year) although CPCs are down for the second straight quarter. >>

Study: British consumers worried about online privacy
Attention brands: If you aren't protecting the privacy and personal data of your consumer base, they'll likely leave you for a brand who offers better protection. That, according to new report out from TRUSTe, polling Great Britain's consumer base. Researchers found most (90%) worry about their online security while 88% 'avoid companies' who they feel don't protect them. >>

Covario: Marketers need to push search spend to compete
Search marketing isn't garnering the headlines it did just a couple of years ago, but for marketers search spending continues to be high. According to new data from Covario the global search spend increased 21% for 2011, with a 28% increase during Q4 (year over year). The big news, however, is that their experts believe search should be pushed even higher over 2012. >>
