William White

William R. White MBE, also known as ’Wilsie’ to family, acquaintances and radio and television audiences, is a broadcaster, journalist, freelance public relations consultant and writer.
A veteran broadcaster and broadcast journalist, he advanced his skills in the print media during stints with REUTERS, The Caribbean News Agency, various other wire news services including Associated Press [AP] and local, regional and national newspapers. As a practicing freelance writer, he now draws on his multiple commerce and public sector writing experiences to produce web content, press releases, sales, marketing and PR pieces. Known to work consistently to highest standards, his writing as a freelancer earns him kudos from organisations in industries raging from IT, finance and publishing to retail, training and management. He worked in radio and television for more than 30 years during which he was awarded the Member of the British Empire Medal, by the British Monarch for his role in the development of broadcasting and information in Montserrat, a British Overseas territory.
