Ad Roundup: Partnerships and a new release

Two new partnerships may make it simpler for brands to advertise and to collect payments online; and a new release offers up productivity options. Details in today's advertising roundup.

First, AerServ and Mediaocean have partnered to give local advertisers the ability to reach local, mobile consumers. The partnership includes device audience extensions giving brands access to premium video inventory and campaign insights.

"Primetime viewership has naturally declined due to program content being available on multiple screens. Traditional TV, by itself, is no longer attracting huge volumes of viewers across a specific broadcast. Mobile apps have increased to the point that they now have the same reach, if not more, as mainstreamTV," said Dan Mauch, EVP of AerServ.

Meanwhile, Insightly has released new workflow solutions to their platform. The new solutions are set up to help increase CRM productivity; some of the additions include personalized templates for emails and other correspondence, custom project functions, and scheduling options.

And Vantiv has announced partnership plans with PPRO on new payment solutions. Through the partnership Vantiv customers will be able to offer non-card payments like cash-based epayments, ewallets, and debit cards.

"Countries and cultures greatly differ when it comes to payments behavior. There are large groups of consumers who either prefer APMs over credit and debit cards, or do not have access to card payment methods," noted Sayid Shabeer, vice president of merchant product at Vantiv. "We understand the importance of offering alternative payment methods, which in some regions account for 30 percent or more of all online spending. We are pleased to work with PPRO Group, an expert and agile provider, to bring these kinds of APMs to our merchants."
