Ad Roundup: 3 releases to increase business' knowledge

In today's advertising roundup, three new releases that are focused on helping improve brands' collection, understanding and use of digital data.

First, SourceKnowledge has released a new interface for its Engage SaaS program; the new release allows app publishers, brands and ecommerce companies to better test and optimize creative in real time.

"SourceKnowledge built Engage to meet the need of brands that are bringing programmatic in-house such as eCommerce and mobile game publishers, whose business models require detailed tracking and conversion of the highest qualified customers over a general assessment of brand awareness," said SourceKnowledge president and co-founder Patrick Hopf. "Plugging their marketing departments directly into the platform has given them the ability to focus even more on performance by building high performing custom audience cohorts instead of relying on hunches about who the target audience for a campaign should be."

And Easy Solutions, a fraud protection hub, has launched SwordPhish. The new solution is API based and helps email marketers, ISPs, and security providers to better detect phishing, malware and ransomware attacks.

"We developed Swordphish as an internal tool to enhance our ability to detect and prioritize truly critical attacks within a sea of streaming security event data," said Daniel Ingevaldson, CTO of Easy Solutions. "Once we saw the power of Swordphish, we decided to make the technology available publically to support our customer's requirements for predictive malware detection, predictive spear-phishing detection, improved security event processing efficiency and orchestration. We are excited to be accepting requests to access the Swordphish technology and we look forward to working with our customers to deploy Swordphish to decrease response time, gain insight into zero-day attacks and to help reduce the cost and complexity of managing large security volumes."

Meanwhile, Lotame has released Data Stream, a new offering that provides recommendations, optimization and attribution for customers, as well as providing a better customer experience.

"Historically, having access to data at the level available from Lotame Data Stream has been limited to brands and their advertising agencies, with little flexibility in how the data is purchased, where it's accessible, and how it can be used," said Andy Monfried, Lotame's Founder & CEO. "We're changing all that. The Lotame Data Stream unlocks consumer data and removes the CPM-based pricing model to support businesses beyond digital advertising. The early adopters indicate there is tremendous need and myriad uses for Lotame Data Stream across industries."
