Ad Roundup: Platforms set personalization as goal

In today's advertising roundup, three releases to the online space that should help retailers and brands up their personalization and targeting games.

First, ciValue has launched a self-serve SaaS personalization solution for retailers; the platform is multi-channel and gives retailers the ability to personalize offers both customer and product data. This data can then be used to personalize the shopping experience while decreasing costs for the retailer.

"As a former enterprise CRM executive I'm painfully aware of the massive investments that retailers make just to enable basic use of their own data. With ciValue, we believe in putting customer science in a box, and giving control of that box to marketers, and through them, giving value to suppliers," said ciValue CEO Beni Basel.

DigitalGenius has released the Human+AI Customer Service Platform. The platform allows brands to leverage not only machine learning but human intelligence to offer people a better overall customer service experience.

"There's a significant shift in how companies respond to and communicate with their customers, thanks to the emergence of mobile messaging and social media," said Mikhail Naumov, Chief Strategy Officer at DigitalGenius. "Normally, this shift would require companies to retrain their customer service agents or hire more people; however, with the Human+AI Platform, companies can now transform their approach to easily meet the drastic increases in customer service volumes."
