Ecommerce Roundup: Tools for data, payments

In today's ecommerce roundup, a trio of announcements and partnerships that will give online retailers better access to customer data and payment options.

First, Neustar and Infogroup have partnered to use offline data in the digital space. Through the partnership Infogroup's offline data will be accessible to Neustar's online clients, using the Neustar Data Onboarding service, giving them more cross-channel insight into customers.

"In today's always-on and always-connected world, marketers need to deliver personalized experiences to customers at the right time and on the right platform," said Michael Schoen, Vice President of Marketing Services, Neustar. "With customers utilizing a myriad of channels and devices, marketers must focus on the accuracy and freshness of their data to deliver on the promise of personalization. We are excited to partner with Infogroup to make this promise a reality."

Meanwhile, Odem Global has launched a new tool to help brands measure paid, earned and owned efforts for both online and offline campaigns.

"The marketing industry has been stuck in the same stale model of agency consolidation for about thirty years, which was glorified - and rightfully so because it was right for the time - by the 1960's 'Mad Men' era that pre-dated modern technology," said Founder and CEO of Odem Global, Frank O'Brien. And, Tipalti and HasOffers by TUNE have integrated to offer publishers more streamlined payments. Through the integration publishers can more easily measure and manage payments to advertising and affiliate networks.

"The HasOffers and Tipalti integration eliminates the last mile of working with publishers and affiliates," said Tipalti CEO Chen Amit. "Advertising and marketing partners across the globe will be able to select their chosen payment methods, be paid in their own currency, and self-service their payment status. Ad networks and performance networks can dramatically reduce their workload related to tracking and managing payments by 80% or more by using this integration, while elevating their partner payment experience."
