First, Gigya has launched an end to end customer registration service, set up to offer cross-device customer experiences which ensuring consumer safety. The Registration as a Service (RaaS) platform supports user registration systems across web and mobile devices.

"Great customer experience has become the new market requirement for growing acquisition rates and expanding relationships, with customer identity and access management (CIAM) technologies at the core," said Troy Abraham, Gigya's SVP of Global Services. "With the ultimate goal of enabling our clients to exceed their end-users' expectations, the GigyaWorks program has been created to help global enterprises capture, manage and leverage customer data while educating them around key market trends and processes every step of the way."

Meanwhile, Evergage has launched Evergage SmartSearch and SmartSort, on-site searching options that should help brands provide a better customer experience. Through SmartSearch, auto-suggestions will be offered when shoppers begin typing terms into the on-site search window, and through SmartSort, items from search queries will be returned according to their relevance.

"[These tools] deliver a more relevant shopping or browsing experience to each visitor, and improve product and content discovery," said Karl Wirth, CEO and co-founder of Evergage. "To provide helpful and effective recommendations, we strongly believe that you need to weave together disparate sources of information, as well as machine learning and predictive intelligence capabilities. Doing this, and with the additional capabilities announced today, we're thrilled to offer personal shopper-like experiences and 1:1 recommendations that make every visit truly one of a kind."

And Stitch Labs has added functionality to their barcode scanning and printing platform. The new functions are set up to weed out human error, which a majority brands say is the leading cause of inventory/fulfillment issues.

"Mid-size retailers should be able to focus on growing their business and providing a seamless shopping experience for consumers, without having to spend precious time manually processing orders or worrying about remedying human errors," said Brandon Levey, Stitch Labs CEO. "Retailers are challenged with finding ways to add efficiency to cost-effectively meet the needs of their customers. Expanding product lines, multi-channel orders and global customers have created demanding shipping expectations for retailers. To successfully meet these demands and deliver a seamless consumer experience, retailers need strong back-end operations that improve accuracy and process."
