Ad Roundup: Platforms increase connection
In today's advertising roundup, a trio of releases set up to help brands better connect with customers.
First, Syntonic is expanding their Freeway by Syntonic solution into Southeast Asia. The move will give mobile operators in the area the ability to offer popular social media, gaming and messaging apps. Among the first to deploy will be Clash of Clans, WhatsApp, BBM and WeChat.
"Southeast Asia is emerging as the world's largest and most active prepaid data marketing, and consumers have demonstrated an enormous appetite for accessing mobile content and applications," said Gary Greenbaum, Co-Founder & CEO, Syntonic. "The market has all the right conditions to make significant progress in sponsored data innovations and business models. Freeway by Syntonic is the most complete sponsored data platform in the market, and we plan to lead the charge in revolutionizing how mobile content is discovered, consumed, and monetized."
And Linkable Networks has partnered with News America Marketing to connect retailers and consumers through card linked offers. Through the partnership SmartSource Magazine and SmartSource.com will deliver CLOs to consumers across the US.
"Expanding the influence and overall reach of the FSI through card-linked-offers provides specialty retailers, department stores and other merchants with a powerful new way to grow sales," said Jeff Jensen, EVP and General Manger, Linkable Networks. "This partnership creates a terrific opportunity for retailers to reach the digitally-minded consumer, particularly millennials, and engage them through a platform with proven success. And with the addition of Linkable's Shopper Attribution Platform, we can turn the reach of the FSI into a performance-based ad network for retailers."
Meanwhile, European based Beintoo has launched the US-based Cuebiq, a next generation business intelligence brand. The company helps businesses better understand customers' offline behaviors and purchase intent.
"Cuebiq represents the future of business intelligence," said Antonio Tomarchio. "Through our data, we allow companies of all sizes to gain unparalleled insights in real-time about real-world consumer behaviors and trends. Leveraging our global leadership position in geo-behavioral data, we are giving the market a new way to think about business intelligence capabilities with the launch of Cuebiq."
