Ad Roundup: Products for video, analysis

In today's advertising roundup: a platform offering real time insight into video and another launch that will put brands in touch with richly targeted ad products.

First, Viewbix has launched Viewbix Insights, a real time analytics dashboard. Through the dash brands can get real time feedback for their video campaigns.

"One of the main complaints we hear from brands is that the video view is simply not a compelling metric," said Jonathan Stefansky, CEO and co-founder of Viewbix. "Instead, they want to know when their viewers are dropping off, how to get people to respond to their calls-to-action and how the videos are performing on specific channels, desktop and mobile devices. The video view doesn't provide any insight into these areas."

Meanwhile, Yahoo has launched Product Ads. The new ads offer expanded targeting, access to rich, dynamically targeted ads with content based targeting.

"Yahoo Product Ads help retailers deliver more relevant ads to shoppers in order to influence and re-engage them at every stage of the purchase funnel," said Courtney McKlveen, Vice President, Industry Lead Retail & Travel at Yahoo. "Early advertisers using product ads have seen up to 20 percent higher conversion rates and more than 30 percent lower cost per acquisition, enabling them to scale campaign impact without scaling budgets."
