Ecomm Roundup: 3 platform releases offer more control
In today's ecommerce roundup, three platform releases could give online retailers better insights into their campaigns and inventory.

First, HookLogic has added advanced attribution reporting, bid multipliers and keyword controls into their platform. The new tools follow HookLogic's recent funding round; their platform is built specifically for the ecommerce environment.
"We are hyper-focused on delivering innovations that drive performance for brand marketers," said Jonathan Opdyke, CEO of HookLogic. "Every marketer would love to drive true, measurable performance - it just hasn't been possible until now. Our recent funding will enable us to accelerate investment in technologies that will revolutionize brand marketing and create new bridges between ecommerce and digital advertising."
And Boomerang Commerce has launched the first of their watchOS apps; the new applications are set up to help online retailers monitor products and to send alerts about trending products so that retailers can make quick merchandising decisions. The Retail App can alert retailers to competitor pricing, offer out-of-stock alerts and alert for trending/popular products.
"The future of retail lies in data-driven recommendations and the ability to act on them in near-real-time," says Guru Hariharan, CEO and founder of Boomerang Commerce. "Leading retailers like Amazon and Walmart are investing billions of dollars to build capabilities that allow them to make intelligent decisions more quickly than their competitors. Retailers that don't invest in the future of retail technology today stand to lose out on revenue and mindshare, especially during the busy holiday shopping season. The Boomerang Commerce Retail Apple Watch App empowers forward-thinking merchants with alerts and actions that turn them into retail ninjas."
Meanwhile 3Scale will now have an integration with the Amazon API Gateway.
"3scale already supports managing APIs on AWS through our Amazon Machine Image (AMI) available through the AWS Marketplace -- but these new integration options take Amazon API Gateway management to new levels," said Steve Willmott, CEO of 3scale. "API providers on AWS won't have to switch infrastructure to supercharge their gateway functions including DDoS attack protection, basic caching and logging. Now they can easily add the fine-grained API control, visibility and developer adoption and promotion features of the market leading 3scale API Management Platform."
