SMB Roundup: SMB tools for the online space

This week two releases into the online space could set up small businesses with additional tools to reach ever elusive online consumers.

First, Swiftpage has partnered with ePages on the Act! Essentials platform. The tool helps small businesses merge and manage contacts while also managing customer history and notes so that the business has a more holistic view of their prospects and repeat customers.

"Partnering with ePages enables us to expand our geographic footprint and connect with an entirely new market of customers," said Bob Ogdon, founder and chairman at Swiftpage. "We're thrilled to be able to offer their customers a solution that suits their business's needs, is cost-effective, and accessible from desktops, laptops, tablets and many mobile devices - ideal for online merchants."

Meanwhile BlueVine has launched a manual invoicing tool for the SMB space; the new release gives small business owners a solution to enter paper invoices into BlueVine's cloud based invoicing platform.

"Just as we modernized the billion-dollar invoice financing industry, BlueVine is again lowering the barriers for small businesses to access working capital by adding manual invoicing to our online solution," said Eyal Lifshitz, founder and CEO of BlueVine. "We are thrilled to bring an alternative financing option to small businesses that previously could not utilize these cash flow solutions. Our customers now have the choice to get funded in the manner most natural, efficient and flexible for them."
