Ad Roundup: Tools look at email, sales, mobile workloads

In today's advertising roundup, new email and sales tools which should help brands increase transactions and conversions and a new mobile ad option for publishers.

First, Campaign Monitor has launched a transactional email service with DIY options for email marketers using their platform.

"Until now, marketers haven't had the self-service email marketing tools to design and personalize every customer-facing email," said Kraig Swensrud, CMO, Campaign Monitor. "With Campaign Monitor's new transactional email service, millions of marketers globally are now empowered to turn every customer email into a personalized, branded conversation."

Meanwhile, AdtoApp has received a $6 million investment from Venture Fund Run Capital; the platform allows mobile ads to be served across mobile networks as well as apps. According to the company their algorithm has allowed brands to double their eCPMs.

And Brainshark has launched new analytics for their Sales Accelerator platform; the new metrics look at how the knowledge of sales representatives impact customer behaviors as well as conversions.

"Sales conversations are no longer limited to what takes place in a meeting room - they're happening before, during and after that actual meeting," said Brainshark CEO Joe Gustafson. "With the Brainshark Sales Accelerator, content becomes a proxy for being in the room. Managers get to be a fly on the wall, while sales teams have access to insights about engagement they'd never otherwise have - helping them refine strategies and ultimately boost revenues."
