Ad Roundup: Social, email releases

In today's advertising roundup, two new solutions that should give brands more insight and access to online consumers.

First, Kenshoo is now supporting Instagram advertising through their Infinity Suite. They've integrated with the Instagram Ads API giving brands the ability seamless access to the mobile space.

"Clients that have launched Instagram ads through Kenshoo are achieving average click-through rates higher than Q2 2015 industry averages for social advertising," said Will Martin-Gill, SVP, product for Kenshoo. "When coupled with Kenshoo's innovative suite of targeting and optimisation tools, brands advertising on Instagram have the potential to exponentially improve results for their entire campaign portfolio."

"We've been really pleased with the link click performance we've seen from the initial test. We assumed that the broadening of Instagram's ad product offering was going to lead to new positive outcomes for advertisers, but the lack of a clickable experience within Instagram to date had us projecting only modest success in response to this new feature. Instead, the early returns are fantastic," said Maikel O'Hanlon, VP, social media strategy for Horizon Media.

Meanwhile, PostUp has partnered with Tableau and Return Path; the trio are releasing the Email Strategy Solution, a platform set up to provide email marketers with easy to understand analytics and visuals. PostUp and Tableau will integrate, giving PostUp users access to campaign performance analytics while the Return Path partnership will allow brands to see competitors' campaigns and metrics.
