Ad Roundup: Platform releases give brands more control

A trio of releases are now available in the online space that should make it simpler for brands to control their online message across platforms, screens and even social media. Details in today's advertising roundup.

First, Moasis has launched Moasis for Advertisers, a platform that incorporates location technology so that businesses and agencies can better target their customer base. According to company information Moasis reaches most (97%) of US mobile users.

"We have always recognized the mobile revolution would require a fundamentally different technology to create contextually relevant communications experiences. Today, we're now seeing increasing demand in the market, and that's in response to rapidly rising consumer expectations for personalized relevance as they move through their world," said Ryan Golden, CEO and Co-Founder, Moasis. "The benefits have been transformative for our clients but as we look towards the future, the need for targeted content goes beyond just brands and marketers - our technology can serve local businesses, developers, government and any organization where location context is key to delivering a more engaging experience."

Meanwhile, Bloom Ads has tapped Jivox to power campaigns; Bloom Ads will use the Jivox IQ Dynamic Ad Platform in ad creation. The ads will be served across display, mobile, video and native platforms.

"Display advertising is changing at a breakneck pace, as consumers demonstrate a clear and actionable preference for relevant content delivered quite literally to their fingertips on mobile screens," said Diaz Nesamoney, Founder and CEO of Jivox. "Traditional ad platforms were not designed for dynamic advertising. Forward-thinking agencies like Bloom Ads are making the smart move, replacing legacy ad servers that can't deliver the flexibility and scale needed to deliver personalized ads."

And Appboy has added Webhooks to their platform; through the integration Webhooks will simplify how Appboy clients link together their marketing campaigns across social media. Appboy clients will be able to both schedule and sent marketing messages across SMS and social media.

"Webhooks will help marketers connect the dots between technologies, allowing them to take greater action on customer behaviors," said Bill Magnuson, CTO and co-founder of Appboy. "Our clients experience is of utmost importance, and for situations that require urgency, such as status updates for on-demand or delivery services, SMS and proprietary messaging platforms like WeChat or KaKao are an important fallback when push notifications are not an option."
