Video Roundup: Platforms to ease video creation, mediation
In today's video roundup: a trio of releases set up to help brands capitalize on video advertising.

First, Sizmek has added an HTML5 feature to it's Ad Builder platform. The new addition, called Video Autoplay on Mobile in Ad Builder for HTML5, offers brands to create teasers of their ads without sound. These teasers auto-play.
"While video on mobile has increased around 300% over the last 6 months alone," says Alex White, Vice President, Product Marketing of Sizmek. "Marketers have been missing out on a huge opportunity to leverage it more effectively to connect with mobile audiences. Autoplay helps solve the problem by enticing mobile users to engage with a video, but in a respectful way, empowering advertisers and audiences alike."
And, HyprMx has launched HyprMediate, a platform set up to maximize revenue while managing video ad network rewards. The platform uses simple drag and drop 'waterfalls' to manage networks and uses performance metrics for advertiser feedback.
"Mediation should be simple and powerful," said Dan Laughlin, VP Business Development, HyprMX. "We're bringing the high standards of quality and service that we deliver for Fortune 500 brands to mediation. HyprMediate makes it effortless to manage partners and maximize performance."
Meanwhile, Simulmedia is releasing their SimulX team; the offering allows brands unfamiliar with TV advertising use video to engage. The platform uses short, targeted 'burst' campaigns developed for mobile game brands to increase their app store rankings.
"Mobile app and gaming companies are going to be the next big verticals for the TV advertising industry," says Dave Morgan, Simulmedia's founder and CEO, referring to the categories on which SimulX will initially focus. "No media drives app and gaming downloads, sign-ups, and usage like TV, but TV has historically lacked the kind of ROI measurement and optimization that search and social have offered. Now, SimulX can offer that as well."
