Ecomm Roundup: Partnerships abound
In today's roundup three new partnerships have been announced for the online space to improve brands' ability to target shoppers and optimize spending.
First, Freckle IOT and Blue Bite have partnered to create a proximity network; the network is said to be the largest proximity network in North America, deploying more than 60,000 beacons. Through the partnership Freckle's open beacon platform and Blue Bite's location partnerships give brands the ability to integrate campaigns across digital and mobile platforms to reach shoppers wherever they are.
"With this partnership, we are embarking on the next era of mobile activation - which is based on The Internet of Things," said Neil Sweeney, President & CEO of Freckle IoT. "As more people adopt connected devices, marketers have grown eager to engage consumers on the path-to-purchase using hyper-local strategies. The scale of this launch means we can provide brands with infinitely greater opportunities to engage their target audience than with what is possible under the boxed-in solutions available in the market."
Meanwhile DWA has partnered with DataXu to create a global programmatic solutions to B2B brands. Through the partnership B2Bers can leverage data points across devices and channels.
"By partnering with DataXu, we're able to target a buying team based on very specific criteria, both efficiently and at great scale," said Matthew Yorke, President of Global Business Innovation and CMO at DWA.
Finally, Tealium and Merkle have partnered to give customers real-time personalization that should improve overall customer experiences.
"With consumers' rapidly evolving expectations today, we are excited about helping our clients quickly execute personalized and relevant interactions. The power of Tealium's audience discovery platform, with its ability to immediately create segments of audiences across channels, enables Merkle to deliver unprecedented personalization capabilities and drive addressable real-time customer engagement at scale," said Zhengda 'Z' Shen, EVP Merkle.
