Ad Roundup: More formats, reporting available to brands

Three new releases are setting up brands to have more contact points with engaging consumers. Details in today's advertising roundup.

First, AerServ has launched a rewarded video platform for mobile users. The rewarded video formats are set up to help game and app developers drive revenue, incentivizing the ads and allowing consumers to choose when and what they watch.

AerServ CEO Josh Speyer said, "We're excited to offer rewarded video to our customers; it is one more layer to add to our holistic monetization solution and a valuable tool for developers. With rewarded video, everyone wins: the user is rewarded with in-app currency, the advertisers receive the user's undivided attention while the ad plays (resulting in high performance) and the publisher earns more revenue."

Meanwhile Yahoo has added native video and video app-install ads to their offerings. In blind tests the native video option, which integrates into the online website experience, increased brand favorability up to 50% and purchase intent to 28%. As for the app install ads, those are returning an 89% completion rate.

Finally, Engagor has launched the Performance Dashboard; the new offering gives brands and marketers real-time insights into the social space. The Dashboard gives a look at how social team members are responding to messaging, the time-frame for responding to customer service issues and also includes mobile notifications.
