Ad Roundup: Tools to help SMBs connect, target
In today's roundup, a trio of releases that are geared toward helping businesses better connect with their targets.

First, Lyris has released their Lyris Predictive Personalization platform; it's a content engine which allows publishers to use messaging automation and contextually targeted content to the individual level.
"Scaling personalization up seems to contradict the very definition of the word, and in truth, no one is going to write one million unique emails, not in this lifetime," said Akin Arikan, senior director of product marketing at Lyris. "Lyris Predictive Personalization makes sending one million individually personalized emails as easy as sending one. Lyris now lets publishers send personalized messages based on real-time data, when each individual user is most likely to engage with it."
Meanwhile, Verint Systems has upgraded their Workforce Optimization platform; the platform enhancements include a dash that can be personalized according to what is important to the user. The platform also boasts embedded voice biometrics to help to improve the customer experience and reduce fraudulent transactions.
Finally, Xero has launched a new suite of tools targeted at small businesses; the new tools work in the cloud and give SMBs access to purchase orders, simple inventory management, invoicing and reconciliation and billing options.
"With Xero delivering inventory most businesses in the world now will be more productive with cloud software" said Rod Drury, CEO, Xero. "Today we've not only matched most of the features of traditional desktop software, but taken it beyond in terms of ease-of-use, mobility, value and performance. This is about ensuring more small businesses have the opportunity to succeed through a constant wave of innovations."
