Ad Roundup: Video, programmatic and social solutions launch

Three new solutions to the online space are geared toward helping brands better connect through social and video channels or to better control costs through programmatic buying. Here are the details:

First, Buzztala has launched an organic video ad network, the solution is set up to cut paid search waste. Called Product Video Ads (PVAs), the short video clips push into the first page of organic search query results.

"The visual web is here and Facebook is a great example. Text-only posts have all but disappeared from the News Feed and it's no surprise since 81% of all Facebook traffic comes from mobile," says Jay DeDapper, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Buzztala. "Facebook, Pandora, YouTube and Instagram, the top four mobile apps, are all entirely or mostly non-text and even on desktop YouTube is now just behind Google as the world's top website."

According to company results the PVAs have outperformed Google PLAs by 2.5 times and Google text ads by 4 times.

Meanwhile Adgorithms has released an SaaS platform which offers automated solutions for the creation, management and optimization of programmatic ad buys. The SaaS platform leverages Adgorithms predictive ad tech engine to control costs, just as their managed service does.

"Manually optimizing ad campaigns is time-intensive and tedious, and frankly, humans weren't built to process massive amounts of data quickly enough to react to real-time market dynamics," said Or Shani, founder and CEO of Adgorithms. And from Sizmek a self-serve tool for both social media and mobile ads. Through the Sizmek Social solution brands can create rich media ads to be served across social media platforms including Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter and Pinterest. Ads can include video, live-stream content, images and other rich features.
