Ad RoundUp: Experience key for platform offerings
Everyone is talking about the customer experience, for both ecommerce and advertising. Three releases into the online space take experience to heart.

First, Acquia has launched the Acquia ContextDB; the offering is part of their Digital Engagement Services suite of tools and is set up to help automate data-driven customer experiences. The ContextDB aggregates customer data and behaviors across channels and throughout data silos and then assembles the results into rich customer profiles.
"We've been working for two years to fill a long standing gap in the puzzle of delivering truly personalized experiences," said Acquia Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder Dries Buytaert. "ContextDB is a petabyte-scale, contextual database in the cloud that makes it simple and cost-effective to analyze data from on- and off-line sources using a customer's existing business intelligence tools. ContextDB lets brands think ahead to the next wave of the Experience Web, empowering brands to anticipate their audience's needs and respect their time and attention. Big data becomes smart data."
And, ChoiceStream has launched the cs.Native platform, a new solution for native advertising. Through the platform advertisers can tap into programmatic buying options for their native campaigns.
"Our new product joins the benefits of programmatic with those of native," says Aidan Cardella, VP of Product and Research. "A hallmark of ChoiceStream's capabilities has always been placing ads in front of the right audiences. Now we can do that by exposing brands to interested consumers within the content stream of a website."
Meanwhile JustDoMobi is helping retailers increase the mobile side of their revenue pie. Retailer Lamaloli tapped JustDoMobi to create their new mobile infrastructure, allowing them to offer an app-like mobile buying experience for retailers, optimized for screen size and with mobile search/navigation functionality.
"By creating an app-like mobile buying experience for our mobile website, JustDomobi made the mobile shopping experience on Lamaloli fast, easy and intuitive," said Yair Agami, CEO, Lamaloli. "And the results are great, with mobile revenue exceeding 17% of our total income."
