Ad Roundup: Releases highlight analytics, mobile simplicity

Pertino and Verint are releasing new tools into the online and mobile spaces this week, set up to ease how brands develop mobile apps and how they analyze customer engagement.

First, Pertino has launched the AppScape store, a network app store that uses Pertino's Network Service Virtualization technology to replace traditional business appliances with software. The company has also added big data analytics to their Cloud Network Engine which should help developers create apps that extend the visibility and security of business class apps in the mobile space.

"Businesses are embracing the hybrid IT model as more of their workforce, work applications and workloads rely on public Internet connectivity. This represents a 180 degree pivot in form and function from traditional WANs," said Bharath Rangarajan, vice president of product at Pertino. "Our Cloud Network Engine and AppScape strategy bring together the platform and partnerships for delivering service-rich private overlay networks with the visibility, security and control that larger IT organizations are accustomed to."

Meanwhile Verint has launched the Verint Engagement Analytics cloud based platform. The platform is a one-stop-shop for brands interested in engagement analytics. Through the platform brands receive access to customer engagement metrics from across the online space including web and mobile as well as email, online chats and social media.
