Mobile Roundup: Enhancements, data and apps
As more consumers move into the mobile space, brands are following. This week three mobile brands are releasing tools or enhancements to help brands make the most of their mobile dollars:
First Brainshark is adding enhancements to their platform - the ability to sync Brainshark Rapid Learning course enrollment and completion data directly into Salesforce through the Brainshark Connector for Salesforce.com; this enhancement will make it simpler for users to get insight into the success of their access training programs. Brainshark will also now allow users to import third party SCORM compliant content directly into the Brainshark Rapid Learning portal.
"These new capabilities provide companies greater flexibility and more visibility to into the effectiveness of their learning initiatives, particularly for sales," said David Klein, vice president of product management at Brainshark. "Through Brainshark's comprehensive offerings, organizations can easily create compelling video-based learning presentations; salespeople and marketers can send and track the content; and learning professionals can provide a full-featured, integrated learning environment for sales reps and other learners. As a result, organizations all over the world are benefitting from our best-in-class sales performance solution."
Meanwhile, appFigures has released two new products - the App Reviews Engine and the appFigures Public Data API. The new products make it simpler for developers and brands to access app store data; the data API allows access to 6 app store data sets while the reviews engine allows users to manage and mine app reviews.
"Making data more accessible is core to our philosophy," said Ariel Michaeli, CEO and co-founder, appFigures. "Providing affordable access to such valuable data sets at scale will enable data-driven decisions at levels no other platform can offer." Michaeli also said, "There are a lot of reviews on the app store, and while they're a great source of intelligence for developers, they're really hard to access and make sense of. With the new engine, we aim to make it dead simple to make sense of reviews with a simple interface and loads of powerful features."
Finally, Yieldex and Ad-Juster have partnered to create a unified programmatic billing solution. The platform is set up to offer publishers a singular view of advertiser and publisher numbers, forecast delivery numbers and easily bill for automated guaranteed transactions.
