Mobile Roundup: A marketing vault, mobile attribution and iPad design kit

Lots of activity in the mobile space this week: Marketron is opening their vault filled with digital and mobile case studies while a mobile attribution platform and an iPad design tool are being launched from other properties.

First, RUNhas launched a mobile attribution solution called Device Connect. The platform was created in partnership with Verizon and offers RUN the ability to target activities across screens. In early tests, the platform shows a 90% increase in engagement compared to campaigns that didn't use the technology.

"When you ask the most influential agencies and brand executives about advertising on connected devices, they universally cite accurate measurement and attribution as the biggest reason why they are not investing more in mobile today," said Seth Hittman, co-founder and CEO of RUN. "Device Connect takes the guesswork out of measuring and optimizing post-click and post-view activity, regardless of the environment - app or web."

And Marketron has launched a data vault. The Marketron Mobile and Interactive Idea vaults are filled with client base studies and best practices for both the digital and mobile spaces. The content there can be used to research campaign plans and ideas.

"With the increasing prevalence of Digital advertising opportunities for traditional media companies, there is a need for education and resources to train current staff on this new potential," said Jeff Haley, president and CEO of Marketron. "The Mobile and Interactive Idea Vaults allow us to share our clients' success stories and provide the knowledge base for our industry as it embraces the new trends in digital and mobile advertising."

Meanwhile ScrollMotion is launching a content creation tool for iPad users. The design tool is called SmartStudio and combines interactive touch and visual cues to create rich, engaging content.
