Brainshark, Viewpoints releases offer brands better access to content
Two releases this week will put online brands in better control of online content - the kind that they create for marketing campaigns as well as review-based content which can be used on-site to give consumers more product information.
First, from Brainshark, three new cloud-based options to help brands better optimize their online presentations. The Sales Cloud, the Marketing Cloud and Learning Cloud options from Brainshark put online brands in control of not only the content within their presentations but access to real-time viewing data to determine how consumers or business contacts are engaging with that content.
The company has also launched the new Analytics Dashboard set up to give businesses deep-level insights into campaign performance.
"As organizations today reach more global and on-the-go audiences, face greater competition and navigate a more complex sales landscape, it's critical they improve the speed, ease and overall impact of their communications," said Brainshark President Greg Flynn. "Our new cloud packages make it even easier to apply Brainshark's award-winning technology to solve sales, marketing and training challenges. Together with our innovative Analytics Dashboard, Brainshark offers a comprehensive platform for improving business productivity and communications effectiveness."
Meanwhile, Viewpoints has released the Pulse platform, an online tool set up to help brands collect, manage and promote product reviews. Research shows that many in-store shoppers are using mobile devices to find product reviews; a platform like this.
"Historically it was cost prohibitive and time consuming for brands to collect reviews. Brands didn't have the technology, staff or expertise to moderate reviews. They also didn't have the analytics to learn from the reviews, and perhaps most of all, it was difficult to find consumers willing to take the time to write a high quality review," says Matt Moog, CEO and Founder of Viewpoints. "Current vendors dealt with this by charging sky high prices while only providing the technology backend. They weren't helping brands find consumers to write the reviews. We're excited about Viewpoints Pulse because it addresses these challenges head on."
Viewpoints has collected more than 600,000 reviews over the past seven years; the launch of the Pulse platform will allow businesses to tap those reviews to create more engaging on-site content.
