Improved Google Shopping features help shoppers search out perfect gift
As the eye of the festive season storm looms, Google continues to add more jingle-bells and whistles to its Google Shopping experience with the announcement of a new set of features designed to make it easier to search, browse and buy.

Google has packed in some last-minute online shopping improvements on the Google Shopping website. They include new features such as shortlists for popular item categories such as electronics, gifts for him/her and gadgets and an improved browsing experience.
The new 'curated' shopping lists have been created to help shoppers decide what to purchase and also allow shoppers to see which products are trending. Shortlists can be created that remain at the top of the shopping page, allowing access from various devices at all times.
Google has also improved the browsing experience by allowing shoppers to check out an item from all angles using a 360-degree image viewer. According to Karen Corby, Senior Product Manager at Google Shopping, this feature will bring the in-store experience to online shopping by giving the impression of "holding and touching a product". Similarly, shoppers can now preview a product in various sizes and colors and, if it's not quite what they are looking for, they can search for 'visually similar' products.
The new features are available on both PC and mobile devices.
