A verification solution and a cloud option launch
This week two new solutions are launching, giving online businesses more options - either for their own safety and connectivity or to give consumers another way to engage with their brand message. Here's how:
First, from Pertino, a cloud networking app store where small businesses can build their own cloud network within minutes. With so many SMB workers, including sales staffs and those who work from home, being able to connect securely to a business is important. The Pertino Cloud Network Services helps SMBs control network services costs while ensuring security and control.
Todd Krautkremer, vice president of marketing, Pertino said, "As companies adopt more cloud-based services and their employees demand more mobile options, they quickly reach a tipping point where moving their network, and all of its essential services, to the cloud just makes sense--it's more economical and effective."
Meanwhile, a new ad solution takes the pain away from those wonky CAPTCHA verifications. Called PlayThru, from Are You A Human, the verification ad unit allows people to play games to verify themselves; the unit offers a brand message through the game interface.
"PlayThru is not just about eliminating the incredible annoying CAPTCHA, but creating a branding environment for marketers that is far superior to other forms of online advertising," says Reid Tatoris, Co-Founder of Are You a Human. "In field trials we have found that PlayThru achieves 67x the industry standard interaction time, 54x the industry standard click-through rate and boosts brand message recall by over 300% compared to traditional banner advertising."
Through PlayThru, the consumer can register for a site, reset a password, complete a purchase or share links/images through their social networks.
