Jivox, ReachLocal releases focus on content

Whether building an online presence or trying to deepen engagement with online ads and content, new releases from Jivox and ReachLocal add value for US businesses.

First, ReachLocal has launched the ReachEdge product as part of their SaaS toolset. The new offering offers an assist to businesses trying to digitize their brands or trying to expand their reach in the digital space. ReachLocal's existing SaaS offering helps SMBs better capitalize on leads, the new addition takes that infrastructure further by adding website design, mobile features and lead management tools.

"We help tens of thousands of SMBs market their businesses online, so we see firsthand how difficult it can be for these merchants to convert website visitors into leads and then convert those leads into customers," said Chief Product Officer Kris Barton. "Roughly three-out-of-four Internet leads fall through the cracks because businesses don't have a website that captures contacts nor simple tools for lead conversion. Realizing these challenges, we created a simple solution that automates the entire process for business owners."

Meanwhile, Jivox has released JivoxIQ, a platform focused on ad agencies and publishers, helping them create and distribute dynamic, multi-screen ads to consumers across the web. The new units include pre-roll video, display banners and IAB Rising Star units which feature dynamic content updates, native ad options and customized ad sizes.

"We're entering an era of brand publishing where the lines between content and advertising are blurring," said Diaz Nesamoney, CEO and founder of Jivox. "However the task of assembling and delivering such content-rich ads or brand sponsored content has become significantly more complex due to the fact that the content has to be kept up to date, be targeted well, and has to be delivered on multiple screens. That's where Jivox IQ comes in. By removing the complexities of ad creation, and automating dynamic data-driven content updates and targeting, we are setting a new standard in interactive advertising."

The content update features may be the most interesting to brands. JivoxIQ uses data to determine which ads should be served - for example, if a rain storm develops in Southern California, ads can be updated to include umbrellas or raincoats; ads can also be based on the location of the consumer or dayparted to deliver morning-coffee coupons during the commute or dinner offers after 5PM.
