Platforms update sales messaging tools
Off-site sales staffs will likely receive more insight from two platform updates this week. From Corporate Visions and Brainshark come new ways for sales people to engage and monitor leads in the field.

First, from Corporate Visions, an update to the Power Messaging training system. Power Messaging is a training course, set up to help sales people understand the sales funnel, customer engagement and retention. The new program update adds to that base by teaching conversation skills so that the sales person can better communicate with leads - both about buying a product and about turning the conversation so that the lead chooses the company.
"These are two different, yet equally important, conversation types that demand a fresh approach for sales messaging. The winner in a sales cycle where products are similar is often determined by the salesperson that can tell the best story," said Tim Riesterer, chief strategy and marketing officer for Corporate Visions. "The updated Power Messaging system deliberately focuses on 'why change' and 'why you' conversations skills training to help salespeople learn how to tell the best story, and ensures that proper attention is given to these conversations by teaching and practicing specific techniques."
Meanwhile, from Brainshark, a VideoSync feature has been added to its On-Demand product offering. Brainshark On-Demand makes it easy to add narration - via telephone, computer microphone and now VideoSync too - to PowerPoint slides to create dynamic video presentations that can be viewed anytime, on-demand, from virtually any device.
The VideoSync addition allows Brainshark users to show videos and slides in a side by side environment, integrating video clips such as 'talking heads', product demonstrations and other content to be seen along with existing slide presentations.
