Platforms to increase brand presence in social
Two platforms may set up online brands to have a better social presence with better analysis of social leads and with real time analysis. Here's how:
First up, Belgium-based Engagor has expanded to the US, offering American businesses real time social media management options. The Engagor platform monitors the social space to track relevant brand or product conversations as well as conversations about competitors and offers the analysis in real time.
"As social media becomes an increasingly important communication channel, we're seeing incredible demand from U.S. companies who want to incorporate social media into their customer service strategy but need an easy way to do it," said Folke Lemaitre, founder and CEO of Engagor. "Customers are constantly talking about brands on the social Web, and it's challenging for large enterprises to keep track of it all. Engagor's powerful tools help brands manage conversations and engage with their social audience."
The US expansion includes a Series A funding round led by Hummingbird Ventures.
Meanwhile, LeadSift has launched a platform intent on identifying 'hot', 'warm' and 'cool' leads through the social space. The cloud-based hub analyzes millions of social conversations and then using geo-location and assigning a 'LeadScore' so that social brands can better target in-market consumers.
"Signal is better than noise" said Tapajyoti Das, CEO of LeadSift. "We cut through the noise of static keyword searches to track and find relevant opportunities for brands to have targeted engagement with customers. After months of caffeine, coding and feedback from beta testers, we have created a unique tool that allows brands to engage in helpful ways with the people online that matter to them."
