Releases up the mobile quotient
New data out from Hipcricket shows morning may be the best time for mobile engagement, and two mobile offerings may help more brands engage through the mobile space.
Working off a theory supported by several studies, Hipcricket created a dayparted campaign, delivering mobile ads for an fast food brand in the early morning hours. The company worked with Agency Moroch on the dayparted campaign, which resulted more than 29 million impressions and 300,000 interactions. The campaign averaged a better than 1% click-thru rate.
Two product releases should make mobile interactions simpler.
First, from SurgeHub, a new suite of mobile ad tools set up to support the sales lifecycle. The mobile content management system offers mobile support through the customer lifecycle.
"There are a number of products in the market that support one part of the sales process, such as giving presentations or managing contacts. SurgeHub is the first application to support the entire mobile sales process from giving an initial presentation to taking an order, and everything in-between," said Matt MacKay, CEO of Surge Software, Inc. "Sales people don't want to deal with multiple tools from multiple vendors, and the proliferation of mobile apps is just making things worse. We bring sanity to the market for sales teams by giving them an intuitive, easy-to-use tool that works the same on any device, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and cell phones."
Meanwhile Brainshark has pushed new enhancements to the Sales Enablement Portal with better search options and content access.
"We're pleased to unveil the new Rapid Learning capabilities and design - which now has a similar look and feel to our Sales Enablement Portal, giving customers a more unified experience," said Brainshark President Greg Flynn. "Salespeople are often 'just-in-time' learners, so it's important to provide them with convenient, anytime access to course materials and sales presentations. With our latest product enhancements, we're making it even easier for sales reps and other users to get relevant content, right at their fingertips, at the moment they need it - whether they're at their desk or on the road."
The enhancements include detailed landing pages, tab views, transcript shortcuts, sorting options and expanded search options.
