App releases focus on monetization for developers

Let the measurement begin. This week two established app metrics hubs release new tools into the mobile space, setting up app publishers and developers with increased analytics.

First, App Annie has opened their App Annie Analytics suite, set up to help developers better monitor and monetize mobile apps. Through the platform offers a store analytics tool which measures downloads, revenue, rankings, ratings and reviews.

"We began App Annie with the vision of creating a secure, comprehensive solution that allows publishers to track, analyze and manage sales and download data for their apps across multiple app stores and geographies," said Bertrand Schmitt, CEO, App Annie. "In order to bring that vision to life, we invested heavily in developer the App Annie Analytics mobile app and API. Armed with these free to use tools, in addition to our updated Analytics offering, we think app publishers worldwide can make better, smarter decisions and that their apps to the next level."

Meanwhile, SponsorPay has added mobile video to its Mediation Platform. The addition of mobile video offers developers and brands the ability to integrate, manage and optimize video ads.

"Our Mediation Platform puts app developers in the driver's seat and lets them focus on their core business to build awesome and engaging apps while boosting ad revenues," said Janis Zech, CRO and co-founder of SponsorPay. "Eliminating the resource impact and opportunity cost on our partners was the key driver in bringing this product to market."

Platform users can drag-and-drop SDK integrations, manage campaigns from a single dashboard and optimize content based on performance.
