Roambi launches Business cloud option

This week a new cloud-based tool enters the online space; Roambi Business is a secure cloud option for online businesses to better source data and garner insights without an big outlay of cash to start off. The platform takes data from CRM and databases as well as simple Excel spreadsheet to highlight issues and offer insights.

Through the Roambi Business portal brands can create, organize and gain insights from online data, giving them better insights to their customer lists.

Meanwhile, they've released the first Big Data, Big Insights study which finds that about half (47%) of business have seen stronger than expected business growth through the first quarter of 2013; most are also working more in the mobile space. Nearly three-quarters (70%) say they're now conducting at least half of their business outside the office doors. Other interesting findings include:

• 82% report they are 'as productive or more' outside the office, many credit cloud systems as offering them better access to work documents, pushing them to work outside the office
• Data visualization and email are the most wanted mobile apps for business pros
• 82% say they 'are surprised' by data insights
