Two releases aim to simplify mobile, social for brands

Two new releases in the online space are aimed at helping retailers and small businesses better connect with their customer bases.

First, from Compass Labs and ShopIgniter a performance program for retailers using Facebook. Through the partnership ShopIgniter users will be able to access and use Compass Labs audience data within Facebook, helping to increase campaign engagement.

Compass Labs co-founder and CEO, Dilip Venkatachari said, "Combining the interactivity and customizability of rich media with Compass Labs' actionable audience insights and effective campaign management and optimization tools presents marketers with an unprecedented opportunity to dynamically showcase their offerings, build customer relationships and achieve maximum ROI."

"As we enter the second phase of social media marketing, brands are asking important questions about how they can best reach, engage and convert the social media audiences they have amassed over the last few years," said Matt Compton, ShopIgniter CEO. And from hibu plc, a business store set up to help small and medium sized businesses better control the expenses of starting up and maintaining an online and mobile business presence.
