Release integrates Open Graph, for better Facebook insights

Rio SEO has released an upgrade to their search and social marketing toolset that will input some social data, helping local businesses get a better picture of their shoppers. Called the Rio SEO Local Search Optimizer, the tool integrates Facebook's Open Graph Markup into a local landing page.

This kind of hyper local targeting can give national or regional brands add scale to their marketing products. In addition to Facebook's Open Graph, the Local Search Optimizer uses micro data.

Once on line, the platform allows brands to 'tag' and optimize local landing pages with shopper data; that information is then connected to data from the social network and markups from Schema are integrated. This type of integration offers more relevance for local search optimization and organic search rankings.
