Platform offers alternative to social login

This month nFluence Media launches the autograph solution, billed as a social login alternative. Through the solution retailers can offer simplified login procedures for shoppers while still gaining rich profile data to customer on-site experiences.

Social login has been a buzzed about term for just over a year; many etailers have found success allowing customer to login to retail sites using existing social profiles. Added bonus: their social profile data comes along with them, offering retailers more detail and the ability to better target or personalize their on-site experiences.

The release from nFluence Media is set up as an alternative to social profiles while still offering retailers customer data and a simple login solution. The autograph solution empowers shoppers to opt-in to leave data about their preferences without offering up a full social graph to the retailer.
