Salesforce reveals blueprint for the perfect Facebook post

Brands on Facebook are constantly refining their post content and schedule to improve engagement and extend the viral reach of their messaging. One firm believes they have come up with the blueprint for the perfect Facebook post.

Jennifer Burnham, Director of Social Strategy and Content at the CRM solutions firm, brought together various elements of Facebook post engagement best-practice to produce the informative "Blueprint for the Perfect Facebook Post".

"Many brands today are posting on Facebook as a means of connecting with their customers and prospects," says Burnham. "However, very few have mastered the basics such as the ideal post length, use of imagery, use of color and linking. When used correctly, these small improvements will add up to increased engagement on your posts and extend the viral reach of your messages."

The graphic includes tips such as cropping images to squares so they work better as ad units, and using short copy and simple imagery for easy interaction by those using mobile to connect to Facebook.
