Acentic, iBuildApp releases to ease engagement
The 2012 summer months are well under-way and that means the 2012 Olympic Games are only a few weeks away. This year one platform is hoping to ease the engagement race for luxury-minded consumers while another has plans to make app creation simpler to engage a broader audience.
First, from Acentic Media, a new platform geared toward Olympic tourists in London. The new platform will help wealthy consumers find ways to enjoy London. Through Acentic's television media platform, used in hotel rooms, consumers will find new placed to visit and things to do while marketers will be able to target ad messages according to region, hotel brand or star rating and even business/leisure notations.
Karl Heasman, Media Director at Acentic Media said, "Typically advertisers target business travelers on the move through more traditional media channels. However, we are giving brands the opportunity to connect with them in a totally new and uncluttered media environment where they are more relaxed and receptive to advertising. This will enable brand owners to fill a large, unplugged gap in the business traveler's journey."
Meanwhile, iBuildApp is creating a mobile marketplace for mobile app creators. The platform helps app creators build and manage mobile apps; with the addition of the Marketplace, builders and designers will have access to mobile templates.
"Our customers were always asking for their own templates, custom splash screens, icons, and buttons. Now they can upload the designs on their own and even resell them," said Rafael Soultanоv, founder and CEO of iBuildApp. "We made it so you can buy a mobile template from our community and know that it's compatible and trusted. Marketplace features designs created and sold by designers around the world."
The templates can be installed within an app with a simple mouse-click.
