google logo.jpgGoogle has developed a new site called “Learn with Google” that positions itself as a central place to go to get best practice and tips for running a business online.

The site takes visitors through various steps of online business startup and marketing and is chopped up into three different areas – Starting A Business Online, Marketing a Business Online and Running A Business Online.

Each of the three areas of study has a variety of learning elements including video and worksheets and covers topics such as budgeting for advertising, how to write effective ad copy and how to choose and manage keywords.

“Many of you have been looking for one central place to go to get smart about online tools and strategies, and we hear you,” said Barbara Yang, Product Marketing Manager on Google’s Small Business Blog.

“Whether you’re looking to grow your business or just be more productive, we hope that this collection of short videos, handouts, and resources will arm you with best practices and tips that you can use right away.”
