Facebook invites marketers and agencies to the Studio

Need a little inspiration to kick-start a Facebook marketing campaign? Then Facebook has the destination for you - Facebook Studio.

Facebook Studio will showcase the work of agencies and marketers, as well as provide a "learning lab" in which various aspects of the social network, such as Ads, Pages, and Deals are explained.

Brands and agencies can submit their own work to the site and make it eligible for the Facebook Awards or Facebook's permanent collection of campaigns, dubbed "The Spotlight".

Entries in The Spotlight are voted on by using - you guessed it - a Like button. Current Spotlight entries include campaigns for True Blood, Altoids, and Skittles.

There's little doubt Facebook Studio will also help drive interest in the social network as a marketing channel.

"Facebook Studio is a place to celebrate marketers who are creating and innovating on Facebook," says Facebook. "This is a community where you can share your work, get recognized for your creativity, be inspired by your peers, and browse a collection of work that represents some of the best marketing on Facebook."
