CannedBanners offers banner solution

Prospecting for new clients and sales leads can be cumbersome endeavor for sales staff. A new solution from CannedBanners may make it a bit simpler. The DIY banner creation company has launched a new Flash banner ad feature, which allows sales staff to create banners quickly for prospective clients.

The CannedBanners platform allows a user to create a banner ad, that ad can be saved and shared with the prospective business or client, giving them something tangible to focus on during a sales call. Users simply choose a banner template, add their own images and text and save the banner ad. It can then be shared with prospective clients, co-workers or colleagues.

"The ability to make a banner ad and share it online is a more useful feature than it might seem. It can be an extremely powerful sales and prospecting tool for online ad sales reps," said Myles Younger, Co-Founder and Head of Marketing with Canned Banners. "When a sales rep can quickly put together a high-quality sample ad for a local business, they've got a much more effective way of demonstrating that a professional online ad campaign doesn't have to be complicated or expensive."

Although sales staff may take ads with them on client calls, the ads can be adjusted as the client requests. Those changes can be instantaneous, with the client needing only to refresh their browser. Clients may also make changes to the ads, to 'see' how different colors, fonts, information or images will look; those changes cannot be saved by the client, however. Only the sales person using the platform can finalize or save changes.

In most cases, the banner ads can be delivered within 24 hours. Users are only charged for the banner creation when the finished banner is exported as an SWF file.
